Taken with a macro lens, this bike basket was an interesting challenge for the abstract view. The bike was parked along a heavy railing on the Strand in Manhattan Beach near the ocean. This is another of my "LA" photos taken in March. This link is to another image of one of the four bikes I found and worked with for "still life" and semi-abstract images. It took me about 1/2 hour to make it down to the beach since I kept seeing shots along the way to delay my goal of getting down to that beckoning sand and water.

After our arrival in Dehli we had to re-assemble our bikes, because, for weight reasons all heavy parts had been transported in our hand luggage.
